North Dakota

Thank you for your interest in American Liberty Insurance. At Trean, we provide workers' compensation insurance coverage to 49 states, including the District of Columbia through our family of highly rated and broadly licensed insurance companies, American Liberty and Benchmark.

North Dakota is one of four monopolistic states requiring employers to purchase workers’ compensation insurance through North Dakota Workforce Safety and Insurance (WSI). However, coverage placed with a state fund may not include employer’s liability coverage, providing protection against employee injury lawsuits.
